Draft template — requires legal review before launch.
1. Who can use Barlouque
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) to use Barlouque. By entering, you confirm that you are.
You may not use Barlouque if you have been banned, or if using it is unlawful where you are.
2. The service
Barlouque randomly pairs you with another person for an anonymous text or video conversation. We don’t verify who other people are, and we can’t guarantee their behaviour. Conversations can end at any time.
Video and audio travel directly between browsers (peer-to-peer) or through an encrypted relay. We do not record them.
3. House rules
You agree not to:
- show nudity or sexual content, or solicit it;
- involve anyone under 18 in any way;
- harass, threaten, bully or use hate speech against anyone;
- advertise, spam, scam, or share malicious links;
- record, screenshot or redistribute other people without their consent;
- impersonate others, or use bots or automation;
- try to identify, locate or doxx another user;
- attack, overload or circumvent the security of the service.
Full guidelines are in our Safety Centre.
4. Moderation and bans
We may block messages, end conversations, and suspend access (temporarily or permanently) for devices or networks that break these rules, based on user reports, automated signals and moderator review. We report suspected child sexual exploitation to the relevant authorities.
If you believe a suspension was a mistake, contact us.
5. Your content
You are responsible for what you say and show. You keep any rights you have in it. When you file a report, you allow us to store the recent text of that conversation for safety review, as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Disclaimers and liability
Barlouque is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the conduct of other users or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. If changes are material, you’ll be asked to accept them again before your next chat.
